Mechanical properties of roller compacted concrete containing recycled concrete aggregate

The compressive strength, splitting tensile pulse velocity, and drop weight impact resistance of roller-compacted concrete (RCC) mixtures containing recycled aggregate (RCA) were investigated. cement contents the RCC chosen as 150, 200 250 kg/m3. In addition to control no RCA, 25, 50, 75, 100 wt% crushed limestone was replaced with RCA. this way, 15 prepared. water content determined by maximum density method. results showed that increasing amount decreased mechanical properties concrete. However, up 25% replacement level, had not a significant detrimental effect on RCC. Besides, RCA substitution more pronounced in leaner reduced
